Another favourite tune of mine- and also one of my biggest call outs 😅🎶 The headspace of over indulgence in alcohol or drugs is a strange place: We know better yet there we go pouring gasoline on ourselves while standing in the fire ⛽️ 🔥 And what’s worse is that we’ll sometimes rally and even gather the masses to indulge in more self-sabotage, or we participate in a night of numbing cause we know everyone else is gonna be along the same page anyway. Misery loves company 🙃 This is said from my own personal experience anyway, and even hearing out others who admit they did have days, weeks, months, years of over indulgence- specifically during hard times 😞 I implore you that if you do KNOW you’re in a bad pattern, and could be in a better spot- PLEASE do that self work so that you don’t end up digging yourself in a hole to deep for you to climb out of, and for anyone to reach you. This songs always been a constant reminder to watch myself, as well as those around me. To make sure myself and whoever else is not over indulging out of anger or sadness. At the very least to not enable and validate each others chaos. Im learning as I go, and from time to time I may still pick up the bottle out of sadness. I may even fake a smile in front of whomever and say ‘The next rounds on me’ 💔 Take care of yourselves, enjoy responsibly 💜✨ Hope you guys like this tune 👊🏼🎶
