The folk-punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner recently revealed plans for a summer tour of the UK. Turner is scheduled to tour in support of his ninth album Undefeated, stopping in cities such as Manchester, Leeds, Southampton, Nottingham, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, Norwich, and Oxford between July 14 and 24. He will be accompanied on this tour by his backup group, The Sleeping Souls. His next album, which will be available through Xtra Mile Recordings on May 3, features the hits "Letters," "Girl From The Record Store," "No Thank You For The Music," and "Do One." In an announcement to his followers, the folk singer said, "We're getting closer to the day when Undefeated is out in the world." "Let's add a few more after we've announced and sold out 14 events in the UK on the same day! In July, in between our festival engagements, I'm taking the tour, the new album, the Sleeping Souls, and my wonderful pals The Meffs to a series of dates in rooms I know and love all around the UK." On May 4, the musician will embark on a tour that will see him play fifteen gigs in different English towns. For those who are unaware, Turner's tour will include the most shows in a 24-hour period in a variety of locales.
