Be More Kind (a Frank Turner cover)

Instead of going out and getting wrecked, I thought it would be more rock 'n' roll to stay in and learn a Frank Turner cover. It's been a while since an artist really inspired me, but this guy has, and this song in particular really caught the spirit of the year for me, and my wishes for the years to come. "so before you go out searching / don't decide what you will find / be more kind my friends, try to be more kind" If you've not come across Frank Turner before, I'd encourage you to go look him up. He may not be your thing, but if he is, then you'll have discovered a gem. My cover's just a pale imitation of the original, but it's my imitation 😉 "and when you're out there floundering / like a lighthouse I will shine / be more kind my friend, try to be more kind" You'll forgive the occasional stumble, just as I hope you'll forgive the odd bum note. And the lack of eye contact; I was reading the words that were wedged behind my mobile on the music stand 🤣 Happy New Year everyone. May 2020 bring love and luck to us all xx
