He is known for his passionate and honest lyrics, his energetic live performances, and his loyal fanbase. One of his most acclaimed albums is Tape Deck Heart, which was released in 2013. The album is a personal and emotional exploration of love, loss, and change, featuring songs such as “Recovery”, “The Way I Tend To Be”, and “Four Simple Words”. The album title refers to someone who has a love of music above anything else, and who uses music as a way of coping with life’s challenges. In 2023, Frank Turner will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Tape Deck Heart with a special edition release for record store day.
