The incredible Frank Turner just dropped details of the 6th instalment of his amazing Lost Evenings festival this week and I could not be more excited, so I thought it was time for another FT cover (Can you tell I'm a fan?). This song was one of the first songs to put Frank on my radar back when I was first starting out as a solo artist. Hearing someone say out loud lyrics like "No one's yet explained to me exactly what's so great, about slaving 50 years away on something that you hate" was like having someone peer inside my soul and write a song just for me. In that moment, I knew that it was OK to not want the ordinary 9-5 life and to strive for something more. I have been hooked on his music ever since.
